New Rental Project Announced - Altavida

AUSTIN (Austin American-Statesman) – A team of developers is building a 36-story residential tower overlooking Lady Bird Lake at 101 Colorado St.
Altavida — “high life” in Spanish — will have 255 units averaging 1,500 sf and leasing for $3,300 a month. The tower includes five levels of above-ground parking and five levels of underground parking.
The condominiums will be ready for tenants by May 2009 with construction wrapping up in September 2009.
MetLife and Houston-based Hanover Co. are developing the project.
