Welcome to the Jungle

Everyone knows that the most important thing to avoid when showing your home is clutter. But so often plants are neglected when clutter is removed from the home. Plants, while they add a nice touch and allot of color to a room, can be overpowering in high numbers. Everyone knows that one home that seems like a small jungle has sprouted up throughout the house. Plants hang from every window, sit on every leg de and occupy every open space. Welcome to the jungle.

Selling a home that is dominated by flora can be an interesting chore. Of course it is necessary to remove the plants to allow viewers to actually see the home. Also allot of people have plant allergies and you don't want to cause anyone to have an allergic reaction to your home. Also think about this: with so many plants in the windows, what is happening to all the natural light that is being blocked out? When showing your home you want the rooms to be bright, airy and open. The occasional plant is fine, but don't overdo it.

People do not want to have to wade through a jungle to catch the finer points of a home. These points should be in plain view, unencumbered by anything, plants or otherwise.Your home need to be able to sell on its strength alone. So take some time to remove the vast jungle that has grown in your home. You might be surprised at what you find underneath it!
